Browns Valley Ambulance Service responds to approximately 100 calls per year.
Fire
The Browns Valley Fire Department has applications available for new members.

or stop by City Hall for an application.
Food Shelf
The Browns Valley Food Shelf is located at 106 4th St So. It is open every Tuesday from 1pm - 3pm and the 1st Thursday of every month from 10am - 12am. For emergent food needs call either Dorothy Christensen (320) 695-2467or Richard Johnson.

Foot Clinic
A foot clinic is held on the fourth (4th) Thursday of every month at the Community Center.
Clinic times are: 9:30 - 11:30.
Meals on Wheels
To sign up for Meals on Wheels, contact Julie in the Dietary Department at the Browns Valley Health Center at: 320-695-2165. Meals are delivered Monday - Friday for the noon meal only.

Parks and Recreation
Browns Valley City Park is located on Hwy 28 West of town. The park has picnic grounds, bathrooms, and campsites with water and electrical hookups.
Camp sites are self-pay.

$25.00 With Water/Electricity.
$10.00 With NO Services.
$5.00 Dump fee

Park Shelters are not rented but are available on a first-come basis.

The City of Browns Valley is responsible for the drinking water, sanitary sewer, and stormwater systems within the city.

Someplace Safe
Someplace Safe operates a Community Advocacy Program in Traverse County. Locations are staffed by local advocates and volunteers trained to offer assistance to victims, survivors, family and friends who have been affected by domestic violence, sexual assault, or general crimes. All advocacy services provided by Someplace Safe are free and confidential.
Someplace Safe serves Victims of Crime Including Victims and Survivors of: Domestic Violence; Sexual Assault; and General Crimes. They provide family services through our Parenting Time Centers. Also available are awareness opportunities for the public and community, and thrift stores for shopping and donations. Systems professionals & partners are available to offer Training and Educational opportunities to help ensure victim-centered responses to crime.

Currently Women Infants and Children (WIC) clinic is at the Browns Valley Community Center on the 2nd Thursday of the month. You can call 1-320-763-6018 option 2 with any questions.
